All Rise! The Honorable Judge Tankut Now Presiding 

Following an interview process, Karla Tankut was recommended for the position of Special Judge for Oklahoma City Municipal Court. In June of 2020, Karla was appointed by the Mayor to serve as one of the new Special Judges for the City. Karla was sworn in and took her oath of office in September.

After serving two years, Judge Tankut was appointed to serve a second term in June of 2022.
